twelveoclockbroccoli: I once taught a 4th grade boy who ran up to my desk one day showing me his missing eyebrow and asking where it was. He was deadly serious. I later talked to his mother who said she would draw his missing eyebrow on with her eyeliner until he confessed what had really happened to his eyebrow. Well, the mom had recently purchased a new fancy razor that hung on the wall in the shower. The student had spent his bath time one evening shaving off the one eyebrow. Luckily his bangs were long enough to hide it - but it didn't keep me from sending him on random useless errands around the building so that my colleagues could see the missing eyebrow. It afforded us with many, many miles of laughter. And so I dedicate this blog to the missing eyebrow!
